In her previous position as director, Service Operations for MCI, Hendricks managed operations for the national business markets call routing strategy, the development and delivery of Customer Service training, and had accountability for business process improvement activities across the Global service organization.


Hendricks joined MFS Communications in 1994, which later merged with WorldCom, MCI, and was later purchased by Verizon Business, as the director of Sales and Service operations. In this role, she quickly demonstrated her abilities as an accomplished facilitator of improvement activities and was asked to lead a company-wide restructuring strategy to optimize efficiencies and financial performance. Her achievements with this project earned her a spot on the executive staff reporting to the CEO as the Quality officer for MFS Intelent. At the completion of the merger, Hendricks transitioned into a new role retaining her quality focus and adding web communications, call quality monitoring programs, ISO 9001-2000 program and registration management and business consulting services.


Hendricks received her BA from the University of California, Berkeley. She serves on the advisory council for the Lawrence Hall of Science in Berkeley, is a certified ISO 9001 internal auditor, a member of the executive community Watermark, and a member of the Women’s Association of Verizon Employees (WAVE)   where she was recognized as a Verizon leader who made a difference professionally, personally and in her community. She is a graduate of Verizon’s Executive Talent program for women. Hendricks volunteers with American Corporate Partners as a professional mentor for veterans and serves as student and alumni mentor for the University of Oregon Parent Professional Network.

In addition to her professional role, Rachelle also serves as founding member of the Popeyes Women’s Leadership Forum (2009-2013). As President, she developed by-laws, role descriptions for the board, and an annual strategic planning process. She volunteers as the Women’s Foodservice Forum Brand Ambassador (2012-Present). She is also an advocate and member with OnBoard Inc, a nonprofit organization whose mission is to increase women in the boardroom.


In her personal life, Rachelle lives with her husband Mike and two canine babies, Chloe and Leo. She developed her love of animals very early on, having grown up on a horse farm. Rachelle enjoys the role of mom, having two amazing stepchildren, Sara and Hayes. When at home, her favorite place to be is in the kitchen cooking for her family and friends.

Before that, Lyndsey was Director of Finance at ixmation Inc., a Chicago base automation machine manufacturing company. Lyndsey also served as independent M&A consultant managing cross-border acquisition projects for both US and China companies.

In addition, his team is involved in improving IT Security across all of WSU campuses and in deploying a Security Operations Center and a Network Operations Center.


Previously, he served as the Associate Vice President and Chief Information Officer of the University of Wisconsin System, comprising 26 campuses. In this role, he was responsible for the leadership and guidance of a broad portfolio of enterprise technology operations including broadband networking, major academic and business applications, library automation and adoption of strategic new technologies that added value to the University of Wisconsin System for instruction, research, learning and public service. He led the creation of a Strategic Intent Document working closely with the Campus CIOs, initiated a working group to recommend and create a Unified Communication and Collaboration framework and worked on improving IT Security with the help of Campus IT professionals. He also initiated the formation of a system wide Data Governance Council and an Innovation Fund to help introduce and infuse new ideas into the system.


Dr. Pillay served as the Chief Technology Officer for Information Technology (IT) at National Aeronautical and Space Administration (NASA). In this capacity, he directed how promising technologies are developed, evaluated and integrated into mainstream IT services at the Agency. To facilitate innovation, he set up two programs, Open Innovation and IT Labs. These programs have been heralded as a model in government and have received several national awards. He was also responsible for managing Enterprise Architecture, Open Government activities and the dissemination of Scientific and Technical Information for the Agency. Previously, he served as the Chief Information Officer at the NASA John H. Glenn Research Center for 15 years. In this regard, Dr. Pillay had a broad scope of responsibility including managing administrative telecommunications, networking, desktop computing, several key administrative applications, computer modeling and simulation, and high-end computing and visualization. Under his leadership, NASA Glenn served as the lead for NASA for the development of Agency-wide standards and architecture for end user devices and systems with a focus on security, interoperability, and collaboration. He was also responsible for NASA Glenn saving nearly $8 million annually through standardization, consolidation and outsourcing of end user devices and services while improving customer satisfaction and other service metrics. These savings continue to accrue over the years. He also implemented and promoted a collaboration environment resulting in improved productivity and reduced expenses across multiple disciplines comprised of over 200 workgroups.


Dr. Pillay is the recipient of NASA’s Exceptional Service Medal and the Outstanding Leadership Medal. He is also the recipient of the Presidential Rank Award recognizing him as a Meritorious Executive in the U.S. federal government. He was recognized as one of the Federal 100 winners based on his positive impact on NASA and the community. He was also named as one of the top 25 IT leaders in Government citing his technology vision, clout among peers in other agencies, and for the ability to show concrete results. He was recognized as the CIO of the Year by the North East Ohio Software Association in 2008.


Dr. Pillay received his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Pennsylvania State University and his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Computer Engineering from Case Western Reserve University. He also has a Master’s degree in Management of Technology from the Sloan School of Management at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Dr. Bobby J. Calder is the Kellstadt Professor of Marketing in the Kellogg School of Management is also a Professor in the Medill School of Journalism, Media and Integrated Marketing Communications. His work is primarily in the areas of brand strategy, consumer psychology, health care, and media, and content marketing. Currently he chairs the International Standardization Organization’s (ISO) committee on Brand Evaluation. This is an international committee with representatives from eighteen countries. Its goal is to develop standards for the valuation and evaluation of brands. To date, two standards have been published, ISO 10668 and ISO 20673.


At Northwestern he has served a Chair of the Marketing Department and Director of the MMM Program, a joint Kellogg program with the McCormick School of Engineering, focusing on design thinking. Formerly he taught at the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and the University of Illinois. Also, worked for the consulting firm Booz Allen and Hamilton. He is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Kelly then went on to serve in various c-level positions at educational organizations in New York City including Ascend Public Charter Schools, which serves close to 5,500 students.  Her work has included driving strong operations, finance, development, real estate acquisition/development, technology, human resources, and leadership development. She is currently the Chief Financial Officer at Gill St. Bernard’s School in Gladstone, New Jersey. Kelly also serves as a lead consultant for Guided Leadership, a boutique consulting firm that coaches new managers.
